As we wrap up another unforgettable Summer Reading Program, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to every sponsor, partner, volunteer, guest presenter, participant, parent, caregiver, and friend who helped make "Unearth a Story" such an incredible success at the Tellico Plains Public Library.
Because of your generosity, encouragement, and support, we truly Roared into Reading this summer! Together, we dug into stories, uncovered adventures, completed missions, created crafts, explored dinosaur and archaeology digs, played games, learned from amazing guest presenters, and made memories that will last a lifetime. From babies to adults, there was something for everyone, and it was a joy to watch our community come together to celebrate reading, learning, and imagination.
This summer was our BIGGEST and BEST Summer Reading Program yet!

Average event attendance of 156 (with a record-high attendance of 179!)

Multiple outstanding guest presenters

An exciting grand prize celebration featuring bicycles, camp rocking chairs, attraction tickets, and more along with books, Big Bear Tubing passes, ice cream coupons, T-shirts, and so much more!
To our amazing participants—you are the reason we do what we do. Every book you read, every mission you completed, every event you attended, and every smile you shared made this summer something truly special. We are so proud of each and every one of you!
To our dedicated volunteers—you helped us dream big and accomplish even bigger things. Your time, energy, kindness, and enthusiasm made every event run smoothly and every family feel welcome.
